BOROUGH-WIDE MASTER PLAN
GKO provided an evaluation of the Lansdowne Library as part of a municipal study that also includes the police, administration, and other culture and civil buildings. The building is 35 years old and has never been renovated or expanded. Study includes a review of their programs and collections and made recommendations to expand the building, or relocate it to another site. The Township has acquired neighboring properties to allow for expansion.
Among the the buildings included in this study, is the Twentieth Century Club of Lansdowne, and the 20*20 Gallery. Both of these buildings were built in the early 1900’s and have great historic and cultural importance to the community, which we aim to enhance and preserve for use by future generations.
